Not another wheel post

So the plans I have for my truck include new tires. 33 X 12.50 I want an aggressive AT or mild MT. I have decided to spend no more than $800 on a set. My cousin is wanting to sell me his wheels and tires. Mickey Thompson wheels and Nitto Terra Grapplers 33 X 12.5 X 18. He wants a grand but I figure I can sell mine to make up the difference at least. His have less than 1500 miles on them. I don't know the offset on his wheels yet but I know my wheels can wrap the 33s no problem. I will be lifting the truck a little but my main concern is the wheel height. In my opinion when you put big wheels on a short truck it looks funny. Below is his truck with the wheels then my truck. Unfortunately he has a Dodge. His wheels are Plasti Dipped and I will probably peel it and polish the aluminum.

What's your thoughts on the bigger wheels on a short truck?
