1955 F100 help
Hey guys...I'm new here but hopefully i will be a new owner here pretty soon. I found a truck on Craigslist but it looks a little funny to me. Maybe a few of you guys that know you stuff could help me figure out why it looks funny from these pictures. I haven't gotten any information back on it but would love to pick your brains.
Any help is appreciated.

Maybe it's because it still has original front springs and axle? For some reason Ford did not center the front wheels/axle in the fender arches in the 53-56 F100. They are replacement springs/ draglink that moves the axle ~1.25" forward to visually center the front wheels if you want to correct it. Wood bed floor has been replaced/covered with plywood or metal then coated with bedliner. Otherwise it looks like a pretty clean truck

IDK but it doesn't look right to me either. It's like the cab
is to tall. Maybe the hood has been modified? Something
not right. Like said just maybe the tires. But are the rear
fenders right? They look more like later ones. Like 70's
maybe. It just looks off a little to me. But what do I know.
I drive a Bronk when I runs.
EDIT: After looking some more I think the silver/white
running boards are messing with me. If they was black
it may well look alright.
