Up Pipe Options

Hello,

I am doing an e fuel upgrade. My babys butt manifold broke taking a bolt out of it. It seemed real loose after I removed the turbo. I am thinking I have a boost leak and it needed to be replaced or have new gaskets. I was only getting 10# of boost at WOT.

What should my boost numbers be like?

Where is the best place to get bellowed pipes?

Thanks,

Bil

Did the irate pipes come with a new manifold? In the picture it looks like it is welded to the pipes.

I recommend NOT using their hardware. Go to Ford and buy the OEM stuff, WAY better

I bought the uptake pipes from Riff Raff. Hopefully they are nice.

Speaking of bolts, I need new fasteners for my y pipe, turbo collector, or babys butt manifold. I tried to get them from the ford dealer but didn't want to trust the parts guy. I pulled off two studs, two nuts, and two bolts. Does anyone know the parts numbers for these?

Thanks,

Bill

I am looking for the bolts, studs, and nuts that connect the turbo to the y manifold, not the up pipe bolts. I called and asked Riff Raff about them the other day. They said the studs were so expensive they don't sell them anymore.

Just reuse your old ones. They don't go bad

I soaked them for a few days in PB then heated them. The nuts aren't in the best shape after me wrenching on them.

I went to the dealer today. The parts guy said they were $28 a bolt. Then he said "those diesel parts are expensive." I have the parts numbers and I will get some of the internet.
