valero used to be diamond shamrock out here, It supposedly is a US firm from UTAH so you dont have to worry about $$ going overseas. I used it for years when I was commuting on a daily basis. They were cheaper than the name brands. Now we have a costco about a mile away and they are cheaper and closer than the nearest valero!

They supposedly have been a better fuel line for a while.

 

That's good news for me, there are several Valero stations in my neck of the woods.

 

After Chevron & Texaco gave up & moved out a few years ago, we didn't have any Top Tier offerings locally for a while, until EXXON/Mobil joined, then Shell, then BP & now Valero, so I was sweating bullets about my 4.0L CCDI returning with having to use the likes of the remaining choices like Citgo, Sunoco, Marathon, Kroger, WalMart & various other non branded recipes. I try & run Top Tier in the Ranger, as it stopped its CCDI problem.
A local merchant began selling unbranded non ethanol, that he gets from Shell, I saw his fuel receipt & his ad pack is LAC+4% & no ethanol. I use it in my lawn & garden equipt.
