Update
Interior has been completely stripped except for the dash. Only parts I need now to complete the body for the paint booth are the front panel for the bed, hood, and 2 doors. I already found the doors and hood but the front panel I'm buying aftermarket because they are always bent in used beds.
While looking for parts I got the dually setup mocked up to get an idea for how it'll look and I like it. Still need front adapters and to order some wheels
The color I decided on is bomber blue metallic with a metallic black on top. The paint line like the front right fender has on the top stripe will be black front there up and from there down to the bottom will be the bomber blue from summit racing

When we replace any removable sheet metal on a car, or repair body not immediately visible to an owner, we perform "cut-in". You strip down the part and spray it to match the body. This way you dont open the door of your red and white truck to see black door jambs, or if recycled parts the donor vehicles color.
Really makes a 100% difference in look!

Found a guy who wanted to trade me some cab and chassis dually adapters and wheels for my single wheel ones. After a sandblast and a few coats of paint they looked great. Also threw in new bearings and races with new rotors. I start auto body classes in August and I may get to paint it myself for the cost of materials.

I have a question for you. Where is that junkyard you have pictures of? There is not a single junkyard in or around the OKC area that has ANY 1-ton trucks that I can find at least, and there's almost no 250's either. There aren't many brick-nose or OBS trucks in the yards around here at all actually.

I stayed in a hotel in or around elk city on my across country from California to NY and then again on our way back about 3 months ago. Oklahoma is a cool place, we did though wake up at 4am to a huge *** spider in our bathroom in the hotel. Not sure what the heck it was but certainly by far nasty looking than Black Widows out here in California
It was nice to be in a place where Diesel trucks were more prominent than most places in this country or at least it felt that way.
