First 2017 Super duty pic?
This seems to confirm my suspicion that the new super Duty would use doors, rockers, etc. from the F150! Great cost cutting move, but the new truck will take some time to grow on me. Some people say the new F150 is ugly, but this takes the cake!
Is this the 2017 Ford F-250 and its all-new aluminum body?

Idk but I have a feeling that this isn't going to be what the new super duties are gonna look like. The pics with all the camp and this new pic look distinct as far as the front of the truck. IMO the camp covered trucks have a more f-150 look to them than this whole new design. But that's my thought

Its about as ugly as it gets. Its supposed to be an aggressive looking truck not an abomination! Even Jalopnik is giving it a look over. 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty: Here's The First Real Picture!
I don't know about the looks so much. The 2017 F650/750 trucks look a lot better.

Ugly, ugly, and ugly.....
Throw in a V6 Ecoboost and I really think Ford does not want to be #1 in light truck sales anymore.
The front end is flat out terrible, far too many things going on, and none of them relating to function. Don't worry though they've spent untold development dollars on piping V8 sounds into the cab...

JMO.
You guys crack me up.
Not only will Ford lead sales..as per usual.
But, they will totally dominate with this new design, and by a huge increased margin.
The new F-150 sales are incredible, and the spring season hasn't happened yet.
When this SD truck hits the order banks, good luck with waiting to order or buying off the lot.
It'll be worse than 1998 when it was a 20 week wait.
When the new truck does come out and sits on the risers at any Ford dealership, the current design will look more like a pre-historic relic from the last century, moldy stale and boring.
Also, I wouldn't knock the potential eco-boost until the updated power and torque numbers are released..

A Sneak Peek at the Aluminum 2017 Ford Super Duty
A Sneak Peek at the Aluminum 2017 Ford Super Duty
Ford's decision to switch its perennial sales juggernaut, the F-150, from a steel to an aluminum body starting with the 2015 model year was a big gamble, to say the least. That didn't mean the Blue Oval had bet all of its chips, though. The Super Duty lineup was still going to be steel-bodied...but not for long.
