First 2017 Super duty pic?

After close scrutiny of the camo clad test mules, this can't be the real deal. None of the Mules have the bars into the headlights, and their corners of the hood angle back like the new F150. Also the hoods are more domed on the mules. I'm thinking this is a ploy to relax the other automakers, which will show a slick tough Superduty when it is released at the Texas State Fair.

I agree with the Chevy comments. It almost has some Ridgeline styling cues. Not a fan of the flat hood, but the F150's hood is similar and that truck has really grown on me. At the 2013 auto show, I thought the new F150 was a styling mistake, now it really looks good to me. I think the same thing will happen with the new Superduty. I'm ready for a new truck and don't think I can do the "me too" F150. I like the Dodge, especially the 2500 rear suspension, but my '01 Super duty has been such a good truck (I've had it since new!) I don't think I'll be able to buy anything other than a new super duty. I think George is right; wait until we see a loaded up one, I think they will really grow on a lot of us.

Personal taste is a funny thing for sure.
Love the original Raptor - new one is only okay, a little "transformerish" for me. It sure looks forced in the styling department.
Original SVT GT, could not have done better in the styling department - new GT is awesome even though I would have stayed with a V8, perhaps even a naturally aspirated one, maybe even two engine choices there. Styling is a home run there.
The new F150 - not bad, but a little "borrowed" in the styling department. I really like the outgoing F150, but for new trucks the Ram wins in the styling department hands down. The Chevy is hideous, Ford and Toyota are "okay" kind of like the Titan actually, and the Ram with a Hemi is very appealing.
Mustang - need to see it in person. The outgoing Boss 302 and Laguna Seca editions looked great and had performance to match. The new car? Just not sure yet. As much as the Raptor looks forced in the styling dept. the new Mustang might seem soft.
The new Super Duty - a swing and a miss! For me anyway it's all mixed up on the front and and I can't see anything good going on there. Perhaps it will grow on me, after all my grandmother had macular degeneration...

This is becoming the same thread with people that owned 2008-2010 super duties when they announced the 2011 . Now those same people have the 2011+
Im going to try to stay neutral until I see it in person. Ford did get lazy with the 2011+ "redesign" so I am going to stay open to major changes.

I don't mind it. Honestly I think it would look pretty good without all the chrome. Ford made the last trucks that truly looked good with chrome, and those were the 1980 to 1996 F-Series, 1997 and up trucks look much better with color matched body panels in my opinion though. Dodge's ceased to look good in chrome as of 1994 and GMC/Chevrolet's as of 1989.
Trying to imagine the truck pictured here with color matched panels, or even just the basic flat black plastic panels, and it suddenly becomes much prettier to me.
