0-60 times post them up!

I'm sure there is probably one of these threads somewhere but I'd like to know you guys 0-60 times with these old trucks, especially those of you who have done some engine mods. I timed my 0-60 tonight and it took 7.2 seconds. Here is my info:
1990 f150 sclwb
Reman roller 302 and AOD
3.55 gears, 27" tall tires
Full length headers, true duals
Electric fan
Six litre tuneup (~14° btdc) msd ignition
Accel injectors (stock 19lb)
K&N rf1012 conical filter
Full smog+egr delete

I took a video and will share it later but I don't have access to WiFi at this time.

I have the 4.9L I-6 w/3.55's . It's a tractor motor. It ain't fast but it's stout!!

This 'bout sums them up.
"Part of the fourth generation of Ford six-cylinder engines, the Ford 300 I6 came on to the scene in 1965 and had a 31-year production run. Although this engine powered Ford F-series pickup trucks until 1996, the 300 I6 also supplied power for everything from woodchippers and generators to tractors and dump trucks.

The reasons for the popularity were simple: big-time low-end torque, extreme durability, and ease of maintenance.

Ford 300 I6 engines have been known to last up to 300,000 miles with no major issues. They produce gobs of low-end torque, including an impressive 265 ft.-lbs. of torque in some instances. That has made the Ford 300 I6, particularly the versions with a forged crank and high-flow exhaust manifold, a popular choice for heavy-duty commercial trucks."

So yeah, 15 minutes!

8.7-9.3 seconds depending on how hard me or dad lay into the throttle or not and weather the E4OD is engaged in OD or not (faster OD out).
Truck is a 90 F150 4x4 302 E4OD 3.55LS 235 75 15s no mods done mechanically.

8.8-9.5 seconds again same factors minus me and dad can't shift that fast. LOL
Truck is a 89 F250 4x4 351 ZF5 4.10s 285 75 16s heavy flatbed again no engine mods. Not fast but it is a beater old work truck.

Both trucks are at 10* BTDC for now. The 90 will probably be bumped to 12-13* once I find out if the roller cam I plan to put in it is in if it is good.

Can't wait to see what the others will do once they are running not expecting ground braking but expect a little better.

Nice Trav. I can't wait to know your 88's time after the engine is broken in. My old engine before mods did about 13 seconds before tuning it up LOL.

You and me both. LOL However only a few things will be modded on it:
31-255-5 comp cam
smog delete
exhaust system (without headers for now till I get money for some already done also)
bumped timing to whatever is comfortable
and that is pretty much it.

One day hopefully it will have electric fans, headers, and heads till I can build my dream 408 stroker.

Right now my bike is probably going to be the quick one with the full stroked out engine build it has (bought it with it and if my foot can shift fast enough LOL).

All my individual mods made a small increase in performance but they add up and my truck is considerably faster than stock. I'm proud to say I've spanked a few chevies in my old ford. LOL

I doubt I will be beating my mom's chevy till maybe my 408 build. Dad counted between 6 and 7 (not a very accurate count but close enough) with him driving (I seem to confuse the car to much) in mom's 04 Envoy XUV 5.3L and that is without me modifying it at all yet!

I hope it does give a little bit of increase over what it was in reliability and maybe a little power. Dad said he wants headers on his 90 but not till he can afford duals or if the exhaust manifold breaks again.
Funny how usually it is dad wants the truck all stock and we get the 90 and I hope to keep it all stock and he goes and mods it. LOL

Edit: won't be able to test my 0-60 time till I get my speedometer fixed too. LOL

Lol. I beat a 96 Silverado with a 5.0l from a 30 roll. I can also spank a 5.3l Silverado from a roll stock but their top end performance isn't very impressive at least in my buddies 06 2wd. They have good low end though

well yesterday we had about a 20 mph headwind and a load of firewood in the small enclosed (5x10) about 4500 pounds combined...

given this scenario i counted in my head so a rough estimate and got 23 seconds zero to sixty. lol

was good for it though, burned out some carbon from idling more than normal this winter.

1992 regular cab long bed, with 300 cubic inches of pure 100 percent tractor or dump truck POWER.

I will have to time a zero to sixty run, mainly just because I am curious what my truck will do, it won't be impressive by any means especially since it is a 300_6 but I feel I have all of my power back with all the recent work done to it. And once I start tinkering with the engine it would be nice to compare

Moms engine is a bit different then the Silverado plus weighs near nothing. LOL
I don't doubt I could beat our van with a 5.0L or neighbors 5.7L though.
