Unhappy Trouble Codes Please Help

Hi everyone, I could use some help, I bought my 2004 ford and I love it.That being said it started to sound like a diesel when I would start in the morning, then after I would drive to work about 45 mins it would have a loud ratlle like sound almost like fan was hitting something, only when It warmed up,check engine light came on mechanic said that computer said number 8 cyl wasn't firing and 7 was iffy, said I needed plugs and coil paks, I replaced them and it started running like it had vacuum leak at idle once you get up to speed it was good, then the rattling noise got louder and was doing it all the time even at start up I replaced water pump. that quieted the rattle but was barely thwere, went to gas station put gas in went to start up and nothing,it cranks but that's it ,I have checked for spark, fuel, and safety cutoff switch all good, im at a loss is it my timing chain,oh I checked codes at gas station and it spit out 6 of them,po351,po356,po506,p2106,p2104,p2111.

RE: Trouble Codes Please Help

To start with - plug the connector together on COP #1 #6 (P035x - Ignition Coil 'x' Primary/Secondary circuit - where x is the cylinder effected).

Then check all electrical connectors to the TPS and the Throttle Actuator. Clean them with a good spray cleaners and apply some dielectric grease to the connectors. (P2104 indicates an idle condition has been forced due to malfunction and 2106 is a relative of it saying the throttle actuator may be stuck. 2111 indicates the PCM thinks the throttle is stuck open or partly open) If the throttle butterfly is not closing - and the PCM is setting injector pulse width for idle - and TWO plugs aren't firing - I would say yes, it probably wouldn't start.

This may be a case where the TB needs to be cleaned. But start with ALL electrical connectors - even the big ones at the PCM.

Then do a Battery Disconnect PCM reset followed by a relearn procedure and see what DTC's come up and go from there. Check them here: P2111 Ford Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Open OBDII Engine Light Trouble Code | Engine-Codes.com

Best of Luck
