Well I sold old red this weekend :/
A few months ago I bought a 2002 F250 7.3 crew cab 6 speed manual. And been loving it. I really didn't want to sell my OBS but interior wise it really wasn't that nice and I dumped a lot of money into it last three years. I figured since I had a new truck I could let it go it was getting higher mileage and needed some things cosmetically.
I really miss it so far but I'm contemplating finding a nicer OBS overall if I can. Crew cab five-speed manual 4x4 long bed preferably. Around 9-10k

They're still out there but they're getting harder and harder to find in good condition. When you do find one in good shape, you better have your checkbook ready and be ready to pony up some dough. They're bringing as high or higher prices than SD trucks 5 or 6 years newer than they are. If you've got 9-10K to spend on one though you should be able to find something that's pretty decent.
Or just do what I did (am doing), and get one from down south somewhere and build it slowly as you go.

I'd say you did alright then.
If you're looking for something that is in stock shape and doesn't have lot done to it, then you should be able to find something pretty solid for that money. That's not impossible. It all depends on your region though. The prices on these things are ridiculously regional. Where are you located?
If you're willing to drive to go get one, you can get a pretty decent deal on them.

I'm located in Washington state. The Pacific Northwest. They're selling for pretty high pretty penny up here. But at the same time I can find a stock one that's pretty decent. It's just hard because my preference is a crew cab five-speed manual four-wheel-drive. The five speed is what does it every time almost

Yep, that's a tough one to find. Most are Autos. That's what did it for me when I found mine, it was in rougher shape than I wanted, but it was a rust free, CCLB, 4x4, with a 5 speed and a rubber floor. I can deal with the rest. It had the right equipment and even though it was in rough shape, the price was right so made the 13 hour trek (each way) to go get it.

Well I guess I was lying when I said the five speed is the hardest part about finding another one. The wife doesn't think I need another OBS. She just doesn't understand the thrill and joy that those trucks bring. LOL. Well she actually didn't want me to sell the red one but now that I did she wants me to buy her an engagement ring, i'm not married to her yet so I just call her my wife but it's really my girlfriend. Haha. But I better buy another OBS before I get married at all to any woman. that way I know I have a chance before its too late to buy what I want. Lol. But at the same time I feel like she would support me in buying a nicer OBS so that's good
