It looks like the passages toward the outside (away from the end of the runners) go into the lower runners, correct?
Edit: Actually, looking at the pictures again, it does look like the inner holes go down deeper. Nevermind.

Long overdue for an update but have my engine back from the machinest. He hot tanked it, decked the block, bored it and polished the crank. Unfortunately the #1 cyl ended up having more damage than I initially thought and he had to go .060" to get it all out. In hind sight I would have probably got another block seeing how I have a couple more in the yard, but for my use I'm sure it will be fine.
