1995 Ford F-150, 5.0L, 4WD, Rear Leaf Spring Replacement Recommendations
I need to replace the rear leaf springs on my truck. Build date is 06/95.
Has anyone had good experiences with a particular leaf spring vendor?
The spring is code "I" which I think is a 43-965 (4 leaf spring). Is there a good reason to go with an extra leaf in the new spring assembly?
Any help would be appreciated.

Me too
I am saving my pennies for a complete rear suspension for my 1995 4x4 also. Found this site and am probably going to go with them since they have complete kits. I also think they sponsor the site, maybe you can get a deal?

What is your spring code on your door panel? I don't see my codes in their selection.

I have K and L, I think L is the rear. Anyhow, I have the 3" wide 4 leaf spring. I would send them an email or give them a call to find out about your application. The only reason I mention that vendor is they have kits - you don't have to buy all the parts separately, seems to be less expensive that way. I dunno. Maybe someone else on the forum has a recommendation?

Maybe you will find the springs that fit your codes here: Leaf Springs, Helper Springs and Suspension Parts | SD Truck Springs

Last Spring (hehehehe, see what I did there?) I bought a set from these guys:
Leaf Springs - OEM & Heavy Duty Replacements In Stock - General Spring
They were great. Spoke with someone on the phone (Jim I think), placed the order, and got a follow up e-mail within minutes. Fast shipping.
I got the "HD" springs for my 1995 Eddie Bauer 2WD, and they are GREAT!

Send me a message or give me a call at our toll free number. We have almost every spring code option available for your truck. We might not have the one you are looking for online but we most likely have it. Ask for me, Junior and I will take care of you!
