FS10 AC Compressor Swap

I am planning to swap over to the serpentine pulleys for my 460. I have all the pulleys brackets and hardware from a 96 e350 van w/saginaw pump, except for the compressor.

I would like to find some adapter fittings so I can use my original hoses if possible. It looks like i could use this 90 degree manifold on the fs10
Nostalgic AC - Ford FS-10 Compressor Block 90 degree
and keep my hose connections relatively in the same direction provided everything reaches.

My research indicates the fittings on my hoses for the york compressor are size 1-14 thread. I believe it is called a tube oring type fitting?

I think if i can find a 3/4-16 female to 1-14 male straight for the pressure side and a 7/8-14 female to 1-14 male for the suction side I could make it work but I can't seem to figure out what words best describe this type of fitting.

Can anybody help or should I just visit my local ac shop?

Turns out I have no local AC shop so I am pretty much on my own.

I found the following parts that might work from vintage air...

manifold adapter 45017 (straight) or 45018 (angled)-need to figure out angle the fittings are at in relation to the flange plate.
35542 high side 135 deg hose adapter w/service port size 8 female o ring.
35513 low side straight hose adapter w/service port size 10 female o ring.

Plus whatever crimp kits they have to match. I am assuming I can cut the old fittings off my hoses and crimp these new ones on and assuming the hoses will be long enough.

Has anybody done the serpentine swap with the 460 and factory AC?

I think you are on the right track!

I haven't done what you are trying to do, but I really think you are on the right track. I have a late model 5.0 mustang engine with F-150 brackets, so when I do my AC install, I'm going to have to either make an adapter to make the vintage air compressor work with my bracket or ditch their compressor and get a new FS-10 and those same adapters you are looking at. I have been looking at hose crimpers. The one vintage air sells looks identical to a Mastercool 71550 which you can get on eBay for under $150 (Vintage Air version is over $250). My plan is to buy one of them and try it with the vintage air hoses. I figure I would probably pay a shop that much to crimp the hoses for me. I am not sure if your factory hoses would work with the Vintage Air fittings or not but they might. Vintage air has a new line of E-Z Clip Hoses that don't need a crimper, but you do need to buy their hose clamp connecting pliers for like 90 bucks. (At that price, the Mastercool crimper might be the way to go.) Good luck!

As an update I found out that in the late 80s (87-89) ford used an FS6 compressor and some of them had a fitting on them that can be easily adapted to my 70s hoses. Now I have one just need some fittings so I have some pressure ports. It should fit the same bracket as the FS10 fits.
