So...for my setup w/out the RV (or while hooking up to it):

Something like this to add into the 3rd brake light:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/120-wide-view-angle-1-4-CMOS-Smallest-Waterproof-Car-Rear-View-Reverse-Camera/290859166013?_trksid=p2141725.c100338.m3726&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20141212152715%26meid%3D8cc590a83b6a49eebd8a17de9b802808%26pid%3D100338%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D231461188001
And something like this to replace the OEM camera since i'll be removing my tailgate:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Color-Rear-View-Camera-License-Plate-Mount-Night-Vision-Reverse-Back-up-LED/281434831116?_trksid=p2141725.c100338.m3726&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20141212152715%26meid%3Da43c7a3abedf41b8b0935e471e822d3c%26pid%3D100338%26rk%3D8%26rkt%3D30%26sd%3D111315838525
I'll wait on getting the actual license plate camera until I get the new truck here, can do some measurements, and stare at the back end for a while to see how I want it to look.

This is for the older brick radio with the harddrive. This is for the radio in the 2011-2012 like in the pic below.

ok...might have screwed up here...

the CANopener is only for HDD based for navi...not the mytouch...sorry about that.

Looks like LockPick is the only way to go for the newer models.

Need a camera or screen that reverses the image in order to use effectively as a rear view mirror like this one..
That's two different pics. One's in his driveway and the other is not. The camera is right. He just loaded his ATV's opposite.

The camera and monitor are right.. The ATV's are loaded in the same direction. His setup is correct in that it reverses the picture.
If you had not reversed the picture, it would not be a mirror image. That's the problem you will find with a system that was not meant to be a backup (mirror) camera...

Here's an experiment for you.
Stand in front of a car parked at the curb facing it ( you are looking at the front end )...
Take a picture of it with your phone.
Now Turn around and face the same direction as the car.
Look at the picture you just took as though it were a rear view mirror.
Where is the curb in the picture (mirror)?

Yep - it's on the wrong side...

So that's why you can't use just any camera / monitor combination.
