Any ideas on how to press the spring bushing back in place. Thought about trying to use a large c clamp. Cant see why the driver's side recentered but the passenger side did not.

I'd try a ball joint C clamp and a few different sizes sleeves. While you have it a part take a good look at the eye just case something isn't right with it.

I was able to get the spring eye centered using a 6 inch c clamp. Did it without removing spring. Time will tell. Noise is gone.

Getting 20's installed today. 20x9 AE 016 Predator 2. For anyone still considering rear b code swap another option is ford P codes. They have same specs as B codes. Found my set off of 04 F250 with 12k miles. Modded the same way as B codes. 2 to 2.25 lift gained. If i had to fronts again i would definitely go with factory v codes and hangers.

Bamm awesome job on moving the bushing in the spring!

I still think the OP and the other guy have springs where the bushings are not centered in the spring.

As far as polyurethane bushings on a daily driver.....Why not? We are driving an 8k lb plus vehicle that is on soft springs. Most of us have replaced the springs with v/b's. I went with x/c's and love it. The bushings wouldn't make to much more of a difference.

I finally had a chance to install the adjustable front trackbar, new length is 30 1/8" while stock is 29 1/2". The springs self centered during the install and adjustment process which I am very happy about. I can tell already I have "less" noise but I still hear a little. Time will tell...will report back once things settle.

That is the exact length I had to adjust my bar to. I too get some noise once in awhile even though springs are now centered. I am still considering going back to stock springs with hangers. What do you guys think about 2 inch hangers/1 inch spring pack vs 3 inch hangers. Wife is not to keen on how rough new springs ride.

I wouldn't however, if your wife doesn't like the ride then something needs to change. If you did go back to stock springs but with hangers, I'd would change out the spring eye bushings on those old springs.

Maybe the ride quality is related to shock/tire pressure than spring rate?

I have contemplated swapping springs as well as they are stiff, and the noises have me frustrated. I tow and use it as a truck though so at the end of the day I think the current set-up is the right one. I might try changing shocks as the MonoMax may be part of the harsh ride.

I was able to take a 50 mile trip today and the suspension feels much better overall. It's almost as if the suspension was bound up and causing the noises but also a worse ride. Hopefully this is the main answer and I can track down any other minor noises if they arise.

Happy to hear the adjustable track bar worked. That is almost exactly what was happening up front. Too many things were working against each other and not allowing the front to settle and line up properly.

The spring eye bushings on these springs, whether from Ford or us are to have an overall length of right around 3.5". This will prevent the metal on metal contact. Without the adjustable it was basically pushing the bushing out of the eye and causing the contact of the metal spring on the metal hanger, so a once centered bushing was now favoring one side all together.

Hopefully in the future this is pointed out to purchasers before they buy new springs. FWIW, the cooler it is outside the more noise. On hot days its silent.

There is still noise, but not as much, and the suspension seems to be working better overall. I still think the spring clamps are rubbing, even though I have tried to open them up.

Also, my rear mod C springs are now noisy as there is no isolator on the "added" leaf.

May try Bilstein shocks as the Monomax I have now I have been told are very stiff...
