1994 E150 conversion van rear heater hose ?

I have a 94 E150 conversion van by explorer. It has rear heat and ac.The rear heater hoses are rubber and steel. The steel part right above the fuel filter has a rust pin hole.I know I will never find new ones. How should I fix it?Have new ones made or cut it out and patch it with rubber hose?

I ran my own rear heater hoses to an aftermarket unit using a heavy duty insulated automotive heater hose. Additionally I wrapped those in a HVAC product called Armaflex which is a superb insulation for that long length, I'm able to deliver almost 180* to that unit.

Those steel lines do rust out and nearly everyone whose encountered it have simply replaced it all with the rubber stuff.

Originally I bought 50' from an eBay seller, less than $50 for the whole roll.

Try this page to the Thermoid site as that's the brand I used: http://www.hbdthermoid.com/images/au...l_Std_Prem.pdf My particular part number was 05980.

Not sure if you need 5/8" or 3/4" but once that's known use the Thermoid p/n for searching Amazon, eBay etc.
