390 upgrades

so i have a 390FE punched 40 over with shaved heads and a mild cam, Edelbrock performer 390, and a Holley 600. so would you guys recommend a certain set of headers and a particular muffler brand. the headers i want to get are the $158 dollar flowtech ones from auto zone, and mufflers i was thinking flowmaster super 50's. on another note i am also thinking about getting a double tooth eldelbrock timing chain, and eldelbrock performer heads, and would i need to get into the roller cam territory?

Are you stll running the pickup spec sunken piston, down the hole .100? If so, that would be the first step vs. all the other business imo...

I HAVE THE FLOWTECH HEADERS , I had to modify my shift lever (into trans) so the headers would clear . spend a little more for better headers and less headaches on install .
flowmaster 2 chambers will be LOUD , I have the summit brand knock offs

I have series 40 flowmaster 2 chambers on my 428cj and don't consider them loud at all.
