6.0 wont untrack load

I have a 2006 F350 Superduty hd 4x4 6.0 Diesel. When it begins to start pulling from a standstill, it will not build power to untrack the load. Once it gets going the turbo will build boost and pull fine. Checked Boots on tube from turbo to intercooler for possible leaks. Replaced tube from intercooler to intake. Made sure map sensor tube was clear of soot (none at all in there). Air Cleaner is in good shape. Im a little Frustrated.

No Untrack

The Load is about 5000# and in soft ground. I can put it in 4 Low and it will crawl out of it. Get on Hard Ground shift back to 2wd and it will eventually pick it up. When I put 12,000# behind it it does it on hard ground. Its like its bogging down.

How do I tell if the veins are stuck open for sure??

you need a gauge to read it, like a Scan Gauge II or Torque pro to see actual live data from the truck.

The 2006 has a good boost gauge in the dash, so you should be able to see the boost. If it's not building boost to at least 20 lbs at low speed, it probably should be. It takes some RPM to get to 28 lbs, which is the maximum for that year truck. The only way to tell for sure if the vanes are sticking or seized is to pull the turbo apart and look, unfortunately. Sometimes you can clean it up, sometimes you replace the turbo.

Any codes, EGR cleaned and functioning? Any black smoke on take off, meaning not enough air for the fuel. A sticking EGR can also be the culprit. Or the EBP, tube, MAP tube, MAP sensor, MAF, IAT1 or IAT2. All sensors need to be cleaned too. First thing is to pull codes. Then I would look at these sensors and the EGR, before pulling the turbo.
