Which fuel additives after dirty fuel filters?

Just picked up my truck and went to change the filters and they were both disgusting! I have a feeling it was sitting for a while before I got it. The one under the cab had some debris in it as well. Should I use a fuel additive to clean out the garbage that's in there? Any recommendations? Thanks!

Bio Diesel is good at cleaning. Power Service makes a couple of products. One of them is for shocking (antimicrobial) the fuel tank. Most any additive will clean things up. I use OptiLube.

I might just use a good lube like Optilube and change both filters at 5,000 miles and see what you get.
