Ford part # for tensioner pulley

Anyone have the correct part number for the tensioner pulley on a 2002 F250 with 7.3 diesel (single alternator if it matters).

Replacing my serp belt soon and thought I should replace this too.

Readily available at Autozone for ~$25...either smooth or grooved depending on what you need. I used a Duralast on my 94.5 PSD when it broke....lasted ~4 yrs and was still fine when I sold it. I'd put one on my '02 if I needed one.

....and I just realized you said TENSIONER, not Idler ;-) Idler is what I was referring to, my bad ;-) But for what its worth they show the Tensioner Pully for ~$65.

The link worked when I tried it, but try this one if you need. If not the are under the OEM section.

So does the spring wear out or just the bearings? I pressed new bearings into mine a couple years ago as a preventative measure and everything seems to be fine.

Some of the youtube videos show that the unit "separates" somehow. I wanted to get a new one in there along with the serp belt so I'd have a baseline going forward.

Just pressing in new bearings is cheaper, and if I know how to check if my tensioner isn't separating I'll do just that.
