51 F5 Playin in the snow
I had to take the ole girl out to play in the snow so I could work on my sons 2000 F150,, 4wd not working.
After replacing the transfer case motor on his truck it was time to get her back in the barn. Wellllll, she came out and maneuvered to the other side just fine but,,, when it came time to return to the barn there was a lotta verrrrr, whirrrrr vavavarerrrrr, slippin and slidin. With a minimal amount o pushin from the family I managed to coax her back into the stall.
Overall it was a fun time, got his truck fixed, and got to play in my favorite truck too

Driver side running board was nice, passenger side had some smaller holes in it. I first tried the roll on type of bed liner with marginal success. Then I used some spray on bed liner and it was acceptable. It works great and isn't slippery but, as you can see in the pics, it sure likes to show the dirt. That is ok though, as it does hose/wipe off easily.

Mark, If your boards are in nice shape I would definitely consider paint or powder.
I had some obvious imperfections on the passenger side that I wanted to try to hide. The irregularity of the spray bed liner along with the thickness of the bed liner was my best bet. I have never slipped on them though.
Now we are expected to get another 8 to 12 inches of snow. I am beginning to really hate winter. The one place of therapy is right here on FTE following along with everyone else's projects. Thanks FTE!
