The F250 Long trip , Part Two

Yes, some of those guys don't care about what they haul or how they haul. I sold a '37 Ford pick up that went from Houston to Oregon. He put it on top (a much smaller truck) and after the delivery the buyer called me and asked me why the top of the cab was all scratched up. Luckily I took a lot of pics of the loading and one showed the top of the cab. I took pics standing in the bed of my daily driver truck as the shipper drove the '37 up the ramp. The shipper claimed that the scratches were already there until they saw the pics. No scratches. The shipper had to pay for the new paint. No nine MM needed

I have had nothing but problems with the truckers. I always ask to be called when they are nearby. They are never on time and I rarely get the call until they are in my driveway. It is bad to miss a days work when they promise first thing in the morning and don't show up until after 2. Also try to charge extra because my flathead motor is heavier than expected and they had obviously dropped it.
