Good morning all. Bandit spent the whole weekend inside the trans shop, but they won't get to him till this after noon. I'm hoping to have him back by the weekend. I'm thinking of getting another bed from the towing company, and having it in primer for Ol Big Red. Just tossing ideas around. I don't want them to fix Bandit's bed. Alan would do a better job on my truck...heck after he is done he will have done the whole truck!

Punch the clock in at 08:30 (lol), and out at 17:00, home by 17:10....no traffic. 30 min lunch in the city hall common area...lol x2.

Interesting morning I read a few well meter gauges, a couple of lift station hr meters, looked at at frozen lagoon and sat in my office (lol x3) and tried to make heads and tails of all the old paperwork...I am having a bonfire.

Got the key to the city hall and maint barn and have access to the Volvo backhoe, Kubota 4x4 tractor, single axle dump truck with a plow. We got a new city truck this weekend...a Dodge that needs already trans, and the regular Ford is in the shop for some clutch work.

How was your day?

Evening All!

Sounds like a fun day, Rich.

I got the Honda and the Caddy delivered today. I got some errands run and the '73 is in the shop right now. I found more rust than I thought it had in the floors, so the driver's side is fixed, but I still have to do the passenger side tomorrow, then get on the cab mounts.

Howdy all. At the office at 7:15am, clocked out at 7:00pm. I got no shop therapy today. Found out the blown 68 Camaro is showing up early Saturday. Looks like we reassemble Eleanor this week.

Just saying....

Tell them you want a complete good bed delivered to your residence. And you want to be there to insp it, before they unload it.

Will do RC. She'll be tuned up, fluids changed, new exhaust, brakes and tires, she'll be ready to go.

Good Morning All!

On with the rust repair on the '73. I also have a minivan that was punched in the front getting dropped off today. That needs to be done by the weekend. If I get this done and everyone else pays me this week, I should be able to completely catch up on the bills and have a little extra to buy some steel with.

Just ordered the computer on warrantee from Little rock. On its way. Thursday should know more.

Alan, he said the computer was tripping at the ignition, and one of the codes was 3rd gear...so that open circuit in the computer is causing this issue. We will see what else could be wrong if anything.

Alan, when are you starting those bumpers? :-)

Windshield rubber... Thinking I want a more modern windshield rubber without the channel for the plastic strip with chrome or black corners etc.. Ive seen it on dents, just not sure what it is called so I get the right one. Thanks in advance.

The base models just have a gasket. No trim. I have that on my '73.

Speaking of the '73, It has solid floors and cab mounts now. It kicked my butt, but it's done. I'm going to order some carpet for it now that the floors are good. It's gonna be pretty snazzy here in a few weeks.

Jeff. Ok, let me know.

I've been ridiculously busy lately and my back and legs know it. I'm not horrible yet, but it's getting there.
