I got my instrument cluster back together. I had some spots to touch up on the aluminium paint on it. I got it finished. Waiting for it to dry then I'll put the lense back on and I'm done with it.
All needles painted, LEDs installed, and paint retouched on it. It looks good. Need another inside project lol! Ol Big Reds cluster is in great condition and has great lighting.

Good Morning Everybody!

'Mornin' RC.

I have to take Tiff to the doctor's office today so she can get injections in her spine. Hopefully that does the trick.

I need to get that minivan shot today so I can have it buffed in time to give back Monday morning. I was sweating bullets yesterday trying to find a bumper cover for it. I did the estimate with a $125 used bumper, but the junkyard didn't have one left. The dealer wanted $470 for a new one. I finally found a yard with a nice bumper cover for $75 yesterday afternoon. Everything else is pulled back straight and the body work is done and in primer. I just have to surface prep everything and shoot it.

RC that Looks like fun....

Alan I have gotten the steroid and cortisone shot in the back before and it works, temporarily for maybe 3 days or 3 months?

Jeff as far as a Suburban rear seat? No idea, probably some mod work/build a frame, get the height right? Ck the overall width first, before you buy it.

But I know any bench from up to a 96 with bolt and go using the 73-79 sliders. And a 01 Super Duty/CC rear seat will fit for sure even using the old sliders, just bolt and go on it to.

Glad the backhoe and plow truck have a cab and heat.

(well really before may something for alans car show) I see a lot of sanding in my future!! one of the things I really don't like doing..

Alan I hope the injection helps Tiff.
It did nothing for me at all.
I made it through two different rounds, insurance company ok'd a third and I passed on the offer.

Hope she's feeling better

Evening All!

Tiff is resting on the couch. She's in rough shape right now, but hopefully she'll do better in the next couple of days.

I got the mini van painted today. I'll put it back together tomorrow. Time is running out for the Man Show. I need to get the monster truck in to fix the roof. The plan is to take advantage of the warm weather next week and get that done. The race is also on to get all the red tape for the business end of the shop squared away.

I just ordered the new carpet for the '73. It should look pretty nice inside when I'm done with it.

Good evening all, Alan time is always my enemy lol..

Rich, thanks. I'm going to measure OK Big Reds seat and see if that surberban/tahoe one will fit. The have a split bench style that would let me fold each side individually. They also have a fold down arm rest with cup holders.....

After floors in bandit, I'll put new automatic floor carpet in Bandit, and if the carpet is pretty good in him, I'll move it to big red.

Worked for the Water Dept, Hwy/Roads and Signs Dept, Landscaping Dept, Carpentry Dept, Fire and Police Dept.

Did my water readings and samples/tests, took the new Dodge city truck to the local auto shop (they have a contract) for a maintenance ck up. Pulled the back hoe batteries, will get new ones come monday. Then bolted some STOP signs back down, moved some dirt "old school" with a rake, stained some soon to be 1/2 doors for the admin office.

Got some lumber ready to replace the Fire dept walk in access door. I think as a city employee am a VFD member now too? I was told to pick out my bunker gear....And I carried a few shotguns and pistols to the cop car, so I am probably a police deputy too? lol

That trip to Bolivar was the first since last sunday and its nice.
