You pointed out one of the things there that really bugged me as I've been looking at the 2015s lately. Ford shows tons of the models with the "piping" around the head and tail lamps. But you have to have nearly the most rediculously expensive model to get that, otherwise all you get is lamps with some very ugly chrome trim "piping" where the amber would be. I feel Ford's materials should show fewer shots of the LED piping and just show the average person's headlamps, the plain ones.

 

I ordered my F150 12/15/2015 picked it up 03/16/2015 in Hot Spring Arkansas. When I first saw it I was surprised to find it a beautiful gold
patch at the top & middle of the windshield behind the rearview mirror. I looked around and all the other trucks had a black patch on their windshield. Fate played a very bad joke on me. On 04/19/2015 a freak hail storm occurred right over my small farm in the backwoods of Arkansas & hit my Ruby Red truck with golf ball size hail stones causing 16 indentions & cracked the windshield top to bottom on drivers side. I had the truck repaired a few weeks ago. They did not tell me they could not find a windshield with the gold shield. I went in to pick it up and immediately saw they put in a windshield with a black patch instead of gold. Super bummer. The body shop is looking for the correct glass but say they can not find one with gold like my original. Anyone on this site have a gold shield on their windshield? Please let me know. Also where I can get one. Thank you for any help you can give me. Milkyway
