A Dana 44 from a 76-77 Bronco has factory disc brakes but the steering linkage is the inverted "Y" type and does cause the tires to toe in and out a bit with heavy suspension travel , also the tie rod ends end up very close to some rims.
I have this set up on my 75 , I am limited on what i can use for rims.

If I was to do it again i should have installed the knuckles from a F150 or 78-79 bronco Dana 44 , the knuckles have larger tie rods , stay away from rims and there are more steering linkage options.
There are also a few aftermarket Dana 44 knuckles out there as long as you have a Early bronco Dana 44 housing. Some full size Dana 44's have been narrowed also.
Hope this helps.

I bought a kit when I did mine. I don't recall if it was from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard or Wild Horses (I've used both and it was a while ago). So it came with pretty much everything all together.

If you're trying to piecemeal your own kit, the trick is to get the right mix of Ford and Chevy parts. I think it's the stock Ford knuckle, a Chevy caliper bracket, caliper and pads, Ford spindle and Ford hub. I don't recall if it's a stock Ford disk or if that's a special part.

But emphasis on the "I think" part.

edit: according to dclack (below) I'm wrong about the spindle, you need a small bearing Chevy spindle. And he says you do use a stock Ford rotor. As I said, I wasn't sure about my info, so I'd go with his corrections.

I used '80s el derado rear calipers (wanted to keep e-brake), stock car brackets, CJ rotor. Not sure if that's the Q.

Sounds like ur well ahead of me in the frnt.

I have the same set up and am in process of total mod there:

Wanna go TRO, earlier 'T' or F150 steering linkage, knuckles, 1 tun axles/u-joints, and F150 shock bucket/1 Bilstein per 4 corners. Am not a mechanic but wish to try to figure the sequence of operation to complete this swap. I guess I should try to do it all at once. I've had the older T stuff modded to a F150 style (machinist put 2 or 3 more adj sleeves on). So have started...

For a Dana 30, your only option is the so called Chevy conversion. You need the caliper, backing plate/bracket, AND spindle from a Chevy D44. The spindle must be from a small bearing D44; they started making a large bearing at some point (I don't remember the year) and it won't work. Then use a hub and rotor from any Ford D44, even the TTB.
