Slightly green hue to oil?
I've been procrastinating doing the obligatory oil-cooler job on my truck for a few weeks. I am going to get it done in the next couple days now, but a week or so ago I've noticed the oil now has a slightly "barf" green color to it (from the dipstick & its drips on the ground/snow. My coolant is green (with added SCA's of course), so I guessed the o-ring/gasket got worse & it must be leaking a little coolant into the oil. But the coolant level seems unchanged (even after ~200 miles). And I don't think I see any oil in the coolant. And I don't see a fuel leak anywhere. So am I correct in assuming it must be mixing a tiny amount of oil/coolant from the cooler, and I'm just being paranoid, or is something else going on? I guess I'll know for sure in a few days when the oil cooler job is done, but I just wanted to make sure this sounds 'normal' for this type of problem.
