I am kinda familliar with the engine as it is the top engine to be fitted to the locally build Ranger. They offcourse also build the 3.2 for export to the US here. The 3.2 is a very capable engine in the Ranger. Just suffers from a bit of turbo lag. Apparently loses power between service schedules which has many owners up in arms. The most popular engine choice for the ranger is a 2.2TDCI good for 148hp and 280ft/lbs. It aint much off the pace from the 3.2 and does normal towning and hauling rather well and gets around 31mpg. The 3.2 are offcourse better suited to heav(ier) hauling and towning. BUT IT AINT HALF A 6.7 V8 TDCI offcourse.

Hey,
What size diesel engine should I put in my '65 F100? The 3.2, 5 cylinder, or the 2.2? BTW, is the 2.2 a 4 cylinder?
Please don't call me a dumass, yet! I am still a newbie with diesel engines!
Oh, what would be the better front end for either diesel engine? The stock front end of the '65 F100, with a 352 FE block? Will that be an easier install for a diesel, or would a 2007 Crown Vic front end be an easier install for the diesel?
Again, I am new to diesel engines!
Thanks for your diesel knowledge!

get a 3.9L Cummins 4-cyl.
you can either source an older one (simpler in terms of complexity, but also likely in need of a serious freshening)
Or get a "new" one; Cummins actually sells crate motors now with common rail injection, etc.
I love Ford's, but if it were me I'd put a Cummins in there long before I'd use a 3.2L.

Where do you live, or just give me a zip code, and I will find a store.
Also, how much, including the shipping to Washington State 98290 ?
Thanks for your time!
