That's a bummer if you didn't know you loaned out your truck.... I plan on being in sometime during the weekend.

Well do to the unexpected results of the PT I was unable to finish
and the resulting pain looks like I will be sitting on the side waiting
for a MRI. I don't think I can deal with the 36Hr drive at this point.
The real killer is I have the funds set aside for the trip.
I guess that if someone were to stop by and pick me up I could keep
myself pickled enough to make the ride.

Two bus transfers. Then it's 63 Hrs one way. That would only get me to Kansas
City, MO. That would be the nearest location with service.

Or if I want to go sitting all the way I can get it down to about
$300~$550

Don't think that will work.

Now I know someone with an airplane but I am not sure how much the fuel costs
would be and if he has the time off from work. Then there is the fact that he does
not have IFR. That means we would be VFR and have to land each day for the overnight.
BTW for the one asking what is IFR the joke answer is "I Follow Roads" But really
is Instrument Flight Rules". Allows you to fly at night. VFR is "Visual Flight Rules".
I think I got that all correct.

It was a good idea and thanks to bring it up.

VFR can fly at night with proper nav lights and transponder. Easiest to say VFR is a bad weather restriction. (where limited visibility exists) So you are good to go

I am so close I rally must attend. Figure on bringing my son out to watch you guys race on Saturday. Do we have a more detailed schedule by chance? Needing to figure out when I can get over there and how much time I can spend visiting and admiring the trucks. Might try for the meet and greet tonight. Is there a dinner location in mind as well?

Sorry but the White Whale and myself can't make it, we are still very shorthanded at work.
