Exclamation Do i need a drop Pitman arm?

i have recently changed my mind on the lift i want to get for my 1977 f150 from my previous post. i found a tuff country 4 inch lift but in the notes it says that the pitman arm included only works with 78-79 f150s. so do i need to order a seperate pitman arm? or will my truck be fine with the stock one?

I would recommend changing your front steering setup to a 78-79 style.

Drop your trac-bar bracket as needed.

Inverted Y to T style steering, is what he means.
