Finally decided to get busy fixing some rust problems on the doors on My '59. I was going to fix My existing ones, but while at a salvage yard in a nearby town with a friend, I spotted a '57 with a pair of very nice doors with no rot, so I snatched them



And I also scored this prize


Also grabbed a seat and a good gas tank, total for all these items $125

I have seen that radio go for more than that!

 

Unless it has been wet, if you gently cleanthat thing up it will probably work. They were a really tough unit.

 

The on/off switch just spins, so that will need replacing
