Traction control Issues
Hey guys!
Have a new 2014 f150 4x4 5.0. Driving along in the snow with traction control and advanced track off (hit button once and then hold button again until advanced track off pops up on the screen) with truck in manual mode in 2nd gear hit the gas while going about 15 mph and the motor feels like it has zero power. Does not break the tires loose and the engine rpm does not raise just sits steady. Truck is not kicking sideways (like I want it to) and wheel speed has not exceeded the 35mph to kick back on all the nannies. What gives? Am I expected to not have any fun in this truck? Or do I just have to pull the fuse for the ABS and lose all functions of the abs (one wheel spin control and ABS)? I can deal with no ABS as I have never owned a vehicle with full 4 wheel ABS before (functioning at least) but the one wheel spin control is nice when I don't engage the e-locker. Are the nannies this bad in these trucks?
