That's funny because I have never been a fan of el camino's or ranchero's.

One major thing that worries me, if he shortened the front cap 4", where is he going to stuff that big Caddy? Build a doghouse in the cab? Not a whole lot of room for pedals already, if you add a doghouse into the firewall its gonna make for some cramped legroom.

That engine is awful close to the firewall. Gonna be great for the snow season.
Won't need a heater in there.
I really like it. Not sure about those scalloped bits on the hood.
Like to see it in the flesh.
Heck of a lot of work in that flip top front to incorporate the guards.
Someone has been having fun! I think the chopped top really ads to the custom look.
