I've never been a fan of the black plastic bed caps on my F350, so I pulled the trigger on some diamond plate caps on all 4 edges.

The front piece covers the cap as well as the entire bulkhead.

Likewise, I opted for the tailgate piece that covers the entire thing, and not just the very top.

The sides have holes cut out to allow me to continue to use the stake pockets. Instructions said to put the side diamond plate pieces over the stock black plastic. I tried that, and it looked stupid. So I just ditched the side plastic ones altogether.

It's all personal preference I know, but I think it turned out quite well. The diamond plate caps go well enough with the chrome rocker panels and the chrome side steps.

I couldn't find too many pics of diamond plate bed caps when I was shopping around, so I'm posting them here in hopes they'll maybe help someone else somewhere down the road.

 

That looks nice, neighbor. I may do that to mine one day. I'm still going through a number of routine PM items at the moment.
It's a lot less expensive to spruce-up our current trucks than purchase a new(er) one.

I usually put them on all my trucks.... Except the 08 I have now, keeping the tan tops on..
