Coolant leak under right front wheel well - Ideas?

Did't see much coolant after I removed the core. Some dampness, but very very little. Oh well, for $25, I'll replace it. Old one looks new.
Also....if it were leaking, I can't see how it would end up on wheel well plastic dripping to ground from wheel well and no coolant in plenum where core is housed?
I checked heater hoses before diassembly and did not see any cooland leaking from them but that would be where coolant could end up in wheel well.
I'm puzzled

(hard to believe - last time I did a heater core was a day long job in my GMC! The entire dash had to come out.)

New heater core installed. Previously back flushed two months ago, so just drained radiator and filled with 50/50. Heater on high. No leaks.....hopefully none to come either!
