Power steering brackets for Y block

Power steering brackets for Y block
I bought the power steering set up from a 72 C600 with what i think was a 400 engine? I have the big Y block truck engine on my 58 C800.
The power steering reservoir is an Eaton type with coils wrapped around outside. I need a bracket that will fit my engine as the one that came with it it won't work. I was thinking brackets off a late 50's model T bird with Y block would work.
Any thoughts or experience on this?

Lets see you have a 1958 C800. If it is original forget the 1950's TBird
that should be a Y block 312 and later Birds gave way to FE blocks. You
have or ( should have ) is a Y block Lincoln 302 or 332 which is a rugged
cast mount. I would get into Hemmings lots of venders specializing in
Lincolns and Check 1957 Mercury with 368 Y block (same block). Last
resort is to make one. Its really no big deal to fab a mount. Hope this
helps.

(I known cause I have two trucks with Y-332's with power steering)

292/312 1955/57 Thunderbird; 352 standard equipment in 1958/60 Thunderbirds; 430 optional in 1959/60 Thunderbirds.
These use the Eaton P/S pump, its reservoir bolts to the top of it (see pic at right).
1958/65 Lincoln 430 & 1966/67 Lincoln 462 used the Vickers Drive P/S pump, which ran off the crankshaft.
Pic at left: The P/S pump mounting brackets (3C511 & 3A732) will have to come from a 1957/63 truck with a 302 or 332 Lincoln derived Y block, nothing else will work.
btw: No such thing as a 400 engine in a C Series truck.
