Bumpside west coast mirrors on a dent?

Like the title says, I'm wondering if the type 3 west coast mirrors with the three mounting legs will fit on a dent if they came off a bump. I know the door contours are different but are the upper portions of the door around the window that different that they won't fit? I ask because I bought a set off a dent a couple years ago only to find out when I went to mount them last week that they are two right hand mirrors but I have a lead o n a set off a bump now to replace them. I did try google and the search option here on the bump and dent forums but didn't find anything that was specifically for this style of mirror.

I believe this is what you are looking for, it has the wrong mirror heads but my 77 f250 has the oem brackets on it and I haven't noticed any figment issues

JohnnyRanger, I skimmed through that thread for about an hour this morning and didn't see anything about what I was looking for.

Zach, I saw you posted that picture on the "73-79 F100 and larger trucks" page on facebook, I replied to that but in case you see this first are the mirrors you have on yours off a bump or were they from a dent?

The three leged bracket that sticks out from the door came on the truck from the factory, but the mirrors themselves I have no idea where they came from they appear to be some universal off brand mirrors which is why I was on the Facebook page looking for someone who has a set they were willing to part with

Any pictures of the west coast mirrors off the bump?

I have a set down here in the cities that I'm not quite sure what to think about. If you were closer I'd say to swing by and take a look to see if they will work for you for parts. I posted on another west coast mirror thread about them about a minute before I saw you were asking about the same thing here.

Bps and dents used those same mirror brackets.

I'll be heading down to Red Wing next week so I could stop by on my way through if that works. I'll send you a PM with my email, if you could send pictures of them I'd appreciate it.
