Even though Ford used the same axles in Bronco IIs, Mustangs, and other vehicles, they all are either slightly different widths, have different spring mounts or other hardware, or some other small difference. The only axle that will be exactly the same as yours will be one off another Ranger.

If you go to Home | Used Auto Parts | HollanderParts and search on year/make/model/rear axle size, you might find an axle in a junkyard near you. If not, the search will return the years/models that will interchange. As noted above, in the case of the Ranger, only another Ranger axle will interchange without modification.
