Single Exhaust Stack Advice needed

Getting ready to install a 6" Exhaust stack on my wifes Truck. I am trying to keep the bed as clean as possible, with no y-pipe, therefore we are going single stack.
Problem I am having is, if I come inside the Frame Rail straight up, im not in the corner of the Truckbed , but more to the middle.
Does anybody have a suggestion of how to bring it into the corner ? I only see it possible with either a s-bend pipe inside the bed, which i do not want, or route it below the frame...
any suggestions ? pictures would be great.

Thanks

you could fab up some pipe and route it under the truck, you can put a 90 to turn it to the pass side, then straight pipe for however long, then another 90 to turn up to the bed and some more straight to plumb into your stack. im at work so i cant go run under my truck to see where theres clearance from the frame, but i figure youd have enough

What about using two 30* bends? I'm not able to look under my truck either, but I would think that would be the "S" shape you would be looking for to get you closer to the edge of the bed. When we did the stack on my buddies 6.9, we worked from the bed down. Cut where we wanted the stack, and then figured out the bends and couplers we would need to get it to mate to the exhaust, then welded it all up.

i looked under my truck at lunch and i think i might just penetrate the bed in the corner , add a 6' to 4" reducer and then route the 4" pipe below the frame und back up on the inside of the frame...

Well if you are serious about cutting holes in your truck, you might as well do a straight out exhaust coming from the front fender. I wouldn't do it, but I have no problem helping somebody do it. It is your truck after all.

If you're going to do a single stack, keep the exhaust between the frame rails. The stack will end up offset between the middle and side of the truck and it will look pretty good right there. Just bring the exhaust straight up into the bed from the stock path of the exhaust. I'd rather be tarred and feathered than to get caught running my exhaust under the frame rail at that part of the truck. The exhaust pipe would be visible to everyone and it'd look horrible.

X2, that's the best way and best looking option for bed stack(s) in my opinion. Although, I still don't care for stacks, except the hood ones.

Do guys with stacks keep a bucket in the bed to cover the stack when it rains? Or do they just plow all the black water all over their truck after a good rain?

It appears to me, there are a lot of people here, that do not like stacks which i can understand as you like to keep the truck original .I myself like them and so does my wife. Her truck is an old truck and i am not concerned about cutting one hole in the bottom of the bed, if it is done correctly. The entire truck appearance will change anyway, as we are eliminating all chrome,(blcking it out) adding ranch hand bumpers ,3" nerfbars and headache rack. Its her Farm and hunting truck :-)

I did took some meassurements under the truck and I noticed that the frame steps up right after the cab. if i cross in this section with a 4" pipe to get to the corner of the bed, you wont hardly see the pipe . Plus since we are adding the 3" nerfbars from tire to tire , it will hide the pipe.
I will let you guys know, how it turns out... if you like it or not :-)
