Nice thread!
Yea my truck is a 79 and I'm 23. Lol... My dad had one also. Growing up and a few 4x4 76 and 79 econoline vans... I loved the feeling! I'll never forgot when we moved from California to Ohio riding in his 79 150. And my mom drove the 79 econoline. 1st time ever seeing and being in snow... My mom learned quick not to speed and be cautious driving in those conditions. She lost control of the econoline and went about 30 ft into the plains. Lol... Good times mom's was scared out her mind though... When I got my 79. Crew cab. And showed my dad. It was a great feeling! He had to drive it... Great memories

I was born April 20, 1962, my '77 F350 was built on Jan 12, 1977 and sold on Feb 4th. These trucks really weren't on my radar at 14, but Fords sure were. I was obsessed with '50's and '60's Thunderbirds. I learned to drive in a '75 LTD and a '76 T-Bird. Still love FoMoCo products from these three decades. I really haven't driven my truck very much since I've had it, but I'm crazy about it.
