Hey guys new to the forum. I have a 04 ford ranger edge with the 3.0 I keep getting a rough idle after the engine leans out. Check engine light will come on and flash and the engine is missing severely. I keep getting codes for cyl. 4 miss fire, and random miss fire detected. Just recently put plugs wires new air filter fuel filter also new coil pack and All new injectors. Any ideas of what could be going on. Next guess maybe ecu? I'm needing answers tired of throwing parts at it. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

 

Looks like nobody ever answers questions here. Sounds like a lean condition, test fuel pressure

 

Run a compression test on it. Probably the valve seat issue known to 3.0's. I JUST went thru this on a '99. Same symptoms except mine was #5 cylinder. Just got the new long block in it a couple of days ago.
