Body Swap

I have a 1993 Ford f250 which was rolled a while back and I was wondering if everything would line up to put a 1996 Ford f150 body on the frame and use the old motor and assembly? Both bodies are regular cab, longboxes. But would I need to make any adjustments to the wiring or anything? Thanks in advance

As long as the drive trains are the same, I.E. same engine and trans, it will be a bolt on swap. The wiring in the cabs is prolly different for each engine, the fenders and box are identical.

Would it matter if the one I'm putting the body on is 4x4 and the other one is a 2wd?

Nope. You might have to switch the cover plate on the floor if your transfer case is a manual shift. Otherwise everything should be the same except the wiring harness. What engine does the '96 have? If its a 4.9 or 5.0 it will have OBD-II and the newer style 104 pin PCM. Your '93 will have EEC-IV and a 60 pin PCM, so the only issue I can see is the wiring harness will most likely be different.
