Finally got some photos of the new truck with our fifth wheeler hitched up.
We took a short trip south from home to Ocean Mesa RV park, in Goleta, CA, just north of Santa Barbara. Our 2nd time at this place.
The new truck performed flawlessly, well above my expectations. We are both very happy with our choice.

Thanks, Glad to Join
Thanks Gigger. Going to try and make a big show today in Phoenix. Just to get our feet wet. Won't be real serious unit late summer or early fall. Thanks for the advice.

We very much like this floor plan in our trailer. We shopped quite a few brands to find the one we wanted. Like someone else said here, take your time and find the right fit.

Finally got out camping this weekend for our first trip with the new unit.....................despite high 20's at night, we had a decent time. 45-55 during the day, great for hiking, but not so much for sitting outside. We made an attempt but soon gave up and went inside. We found a few minor issues, but nothing major.
This was Hickory Run State Park here in PA. This was the first full hookup site they installed, I guess because it was easy, the showerhouse is right behind the trailer, along with a dumpster across the street from the truck. Also someone missed the memo that the sewer connection should not be uphill from the trailer..........................Not a site we'd take again.
We found the rest of the full hookup sites they are just about done with and those are much better. Thrilled with how good the rig rides and 6.7 handles it. Though I have a leaking left airbag that needs investigated.

Scott - that's what it's all about man! Good job - I hope to be camping in a coupla months!
Roy - Big-Foot doesn't even break a sweat with Goliath behind him....
I did raise the hitch up one bolt hole to keep the pin-box from fouling the bed rails like what happened last fall... Grrrr.... I will be adding the bags soon too..
