IMO I would make sure that the springs you put on there are a little heavier than factory, esp if you are planning on putting bags in the back. I don't know what you have in mind for the use of the truck pulling-wise...
And welcome to FTE, you learn something new everyday.

thanks for the input, it does have factory f250 springs in the rear, which I would like to use SD rear springs if possible with bags. The truck will be used to pull a alum. gooseneck with a 10,000lb mini excavator in a rare occasion....I have a 2010 6.4 for my workhorse, the truck I am building is more or less a toy.
a few pics. of the truck. I just pulled the box off last night. Truck is in overall good shape. one issue I have (that I am hoping is not a frame issue) is when you are driving behind the truck the far left rear corner of the box sags like 2".....I am hoping it is a suspension problem rather than frame!!!!!! will soon find out....
Skip, how much taller of a cowl? If you ever decide to get a different hood, let me know, I'd buy the one you have now, if I don't make my own cowl hood by then!
