Need connector to factory sub/amp

I need help in finishing installing a factory sub in an XLT truck. Now before you all tell me to install an aftermarket sub, I already have one and I just need a connector to install it. Does anyone have the connector? Maybe you installed an aftermarket sub and head unit and ran separate wires and still have that factory connector? I could really use it.

Thanx

here is the Mortorcraft connector catalog. It might help you find the connector you need.

I cut off my factory connector and direct connected to the wires. Not helpful I guess, but was certainly easy...

Don't have a connector like you are looking for...but I am also interested in putting a sub in. Kind of curious how you are hooking up to the factory stereo (as I want to keep Sync). Does the stereo have a pre-amp out on it? And what style stereo does your model have?

I have an XLT also but the head is just the plain jane single cd, AM/FM

No preamp outs on the factory head but must subs amps have line level inputs.

Is a low pass filter not needed then?

Yes, you would still want to use the low pass filter as you would be using full range high (speaker) level signal to feed the amp.

Nothing like a good old fashioned hijacking

I have an aftermarket Nav head unit which will connect to any amp/sub. Just prefer the factory, but it's not looking too good....

I know what you mean about the factory head. Everything works so well I don't want to mess with it. There are some Kenwood heads that will work with sync, but they are upwards of $800...no way.
