New seats are more comfortable than 25+ old seats, especially for the older people.

I decided to buy a new. I could choose a color and the style I want. It's gonna be blue to match my truck..one question. Would a high back 40/20/40 seat work in a reg. Cab?

I just picked up some Explorer seats at the pick & pull for the F250. I couldn't find any truck seats, but the Explorer seats looked to be the right size, and they weren't worn at all. My old seats felt like sitting in a bucket. We had an '04 Explorer, so I knew the seats would be comfortable for long trips. I just removed the old seats from the seat pan, removed the mounts off the bottoms of the Explorer seats (rivet drilling) and drilled one new hole in the new seat track per seat, and three new holes in the pan per seat. I still need to run the permanent power to the drivers seat, but overall a huge improvement. The Explorer seats have a slightly longer seat bottom which is nice as I have long legs, and having the power adjustments, especially the ability to raise and lower, is great. The only issue is that they sit about an inch higher than the stock seats, so headroom is close. $70 all in, including new mounting hardware and wire for power. We'll probably order some neoprene seat covers for them soon.

They do!
IMHO if some one gave me 50k (around the price of a new truck) and said I could buy what ever I want I'd buy a bullnose and fix her up, new trucks are too damn sophisticated, sensor this sensor that, sensors every where
