Hey what's up ? At what point as we add performance things to our trucks do most people start thinking about getting a tuner and tune .My truck has a 2 size lower crank pulley upgrade , A oil separator , headers and exhaust out the back , cone filter and a performance intercooler .This is all new to me I usually miss with the big block stuff. I guess I should do the boost bypass

Most people will add a custom tune when they add a 4lb pulley or higher. You don't need a custom tune when adding a 4lb pulley, but if you want to wring more power from the upgrade, then it is suggested.

Anything more than a 4lb pulley and you do need a tune in order to make sure the MAF is properly calibrated for the extra boost. It's not needed with a 4lb pulley because the fueling and MAF tuning from the factory can easily adapt to the extra boost.

My truck has a 2 size lower crank pulley upgrade
That doesn't tell us how much extra boost the pulley provides. Plus, crank pulley's get bigger to provide boost, not smaller/lower.

A oil separator , headers and exhaust out the back , cone filter and a performance intercooler
None of those mods provides any power for your truck, the pulley does, but nothing else.

OK thanks. That what I was thinking to .The lower pulley is a metro size 8 ,I think . U would think with that added boost the truck would do a straight line burnout from a dead stop , around a corner it will .My other 3 cars with 400 plus hp will , and a figured a truck with no *** end weight should fry them.
