F1 panels on UPAY
I always cruise through the f1 section on upay just to see what's out there and sometimes to get a chuckle at the prices people want for trucks. This week there is a few panels listed. One seemed reasonable and the other two, not so much but there was one that was in the process of being "customized" by putting big back windows in. While I think it would be neat on someone else's panel, I would never have the guts to hack into a panel like that. Thought I would share the link for the fellow panel owners on here.

This panel got my interest, I thought I might have seen it on the net some time back and I was right. I first saw it a long time ago while doing a search for 1950 Ford trucks.
There was a FTE member who bought and post here a few time in 2007, he went by the name of "50 phatty". Here a some of the pictures from his gallery:
I was also posted on an on line "Cars for sale" site, looks like the same pictures for I'm assuming it's the same member selling it:
He also had this post with his for sale ad:
It looks to be in a little worse for wear now that it's been posted on eBay. It had to take a lot of work to shorten the truck.
You can see the red bottoms on the sides in this picture.
He also didn't cut the window in himself, he just opened up the window holes put there probably by the ambulance builder, more likely Siebert. Too, bad, I think I would have liked to get it back to original ambulance shape:
