Turning over but won't start

I haven't had my 1977 F-350 with a 460 for long, but it was starting and running. About a week ago it started only turning over but not catching. Fuel pump had been leaking so I replaced fuel pump and fuel line. I can see that the carburetor is getting fuel, but still no start. Replace the ignition module, & coil but still no start. Next I think I will check the plugs and replace them and replace the distributor cap and rotor. Any other ideas?

In a word: diagnostics.

Sounds like you're on the right track in a round-about way by servicing components vital to a running engine - fuel delivery, spark, etc. However by omission one can only speculate whether or not you have actually checked to see whether or not any of the systems you're changing are working.

With that in mind, have you checked to see if you're getting spark? If you are, then changing the cap/rotor likely isn't going to fix it.

Have you checked the plugs yet? How do they look?
I would check the positive wire to the coil. Make sure electricity is going to the coil. Then check to see if spark is coming out of the coil. This could be just a coil wire.

No spark

No spark coming out of the cap to plugs. Replacing cap and rotor didn't work, but I'm wondering if it's magnetic piece in distributor. Think I'm going to put a new distributor in next.

Your ballast resistor could be burnt out.
^^^^^ X2......Check to see if you have 10v or so to your coil when the key is on.
