Hello everyone. BarG here. I own 3 Fords currently, A 1986 F150, 1994 F150,and a 2003 Ford Ranger for my wife. I blew the engine in my 94 so I am resurrecting my 86 that has been sitting for 8 years. I Have it running well and am in the process of replacing the clutch tomorrow. It has been 30 years since I worked on a clutch since my previous buisness allowed me to hire experienced mechanics to keep on the road as soon as possible and allow me to work running my Carpenter buisness. My Grandfather was the head mechanic for the city of Houston for 40 years , retired in 1963 and no longer with me . If I need help other than a chiltons I hope I can get it here. I failed to mention my first truck was a Ford 1950 shortbed with a flathead 8, The neatest truck I ever owned. Thanks.

Thanks for the welcome. I never knew this site existed , It will take a long while to catch up on how to navigate and learn what I need to maintain my Trucks. I want to convert my 3 speed on the column to a floor shift.I have repaired or replaced my column shifter at least 3 times and I am having a hard time finding what I need from all the local auto parts and even on the net.
